A Severe Red Flag Warning is in effect for Oklahoma City from 5:00 PM today until midnight, due to extremely windy and dry conditions. Currently, at 12:00 PM, the city experiences overcast weather with a temperature of 55°F and strong winds at 27.2 mph. There has been no precipitation recorded.

For the rest of today, temperatures are expected to reach a high of around 68.4°F with continual strong wind gusts, potentially peaking at 28.1 mph. The sky will remain mostly overcast throughout the day. Tonight, the weather is forecasted to clear up, with temperatures dropping to a low of 34°F and winds slightly decreasing to a maximum of 24.6 mph.

In addition to the red flag warning, a Severe High Wind Warning and a Moderate Fire Weather Watch are also in place. Residents are advised to take extreme caution, as any fires that develop could spread rapidly, and outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. The exceptionally low humidity levels around 20 percent and dry conditions contribute to critical fire weather potential.
